Xuan is a Vietnamese word meaning Spring, often used as a first name. Xuan is pronounced s oo uh n. My original inspiration came from the yarn itself, when I placed the Chartreuse gradient and the Jelly pink together I became obsessed by the combination. The colours reminded me of the beautiful embroidery of the Hmong people and as I was headed to Vietnam on a holiday I decided to create a design that would be perfect to knit on my trip.
