WINTERTIDE

Wintertide is a pretty Fair Isle hat combined with the simplicity of using just two colours and knitted in the round. Sized to fit most teens/adult women. Knitted in soft Aran/Worsted Weight yarn with flattering crown shaping and the option to extend the brim to turn your beanie into a slouchy.

Larger needles would easily increase the size to fit a chap. Extra yarn would be required.

Materials: Approximately, 100 yards of main colour and 80 yards in contrast colour. Aran/Worsted weight yarns. Design looks best where at least one of the yarn choices is plain, not variegated. 4.50 mm circular knitting needles. (Or up to 5.50 mm for larger size).

Pattern includes stitch by stitch written instructions together with a coloured chart for the motifs if preferred.
