Winter Sunrise Beanie

Construction: the hat is knitted bottom up in a round, with a long folding up brim or a classic short one. The crown is pointed and can accommodate a small/medium size pompom.

Yarn: ca. 90 g (almost 2 balls) of Mongolia 3 from Fonty, 85% wool and 15% baby yak, with 150 m in 50 g, for an Adult size. The leftover yarn is enough to make a small size pompom.

Needles & notions: 5.5 mm (9 US) circular needles with 40 cm/16 in long cable, cable needle or a spare needle for the cables (if needed), 1 stitch marker and a crochet hook (any size from 4.0 mm (6 US)) or tapestry needle to weave in the ends.

Gauge: 11 sts and 20 row in 10 cm/4 in with stockinette st, 14 sts and 20 rows in 10 cm/4 in with 2x2 ribbing. Please, make a swatch to estimate the gauge correctly (you can unravel the swatch later and use the yarn in your project, so that nothing goes to waste).

Sizes: Adult (ca. 54-58 cm/21-23 in) and Kids (ca. 44-50 cm/18-20 in).
