Product Description
This colourful fun top is worked in Stocking Stitch, edged with contrasting Garter Stitch borders & features whirligig windmills. The main pieces are worked flat on two needles & stitched together. The windmills are worked separately and added to the finished top. The pattern is in PDF format, with instructions in four sizes, to suit ages up to 3 years, including step by step instructions & photos showing how to construct the windmills. The sample above has been worked in Cascade Ultra Pima Paints – (shade 9797- Carnival), & is shown in the 3rd size.
Stitches & techniques required include: Casting on & off, Stocking Stitch, Garter Stitch, increasing & decreasing, picking up sts (to work the neck edging).
