The pattern is relatively easy, so it is suitable for a beginner knitter just as long as you count your stitches carefully. Increases are by yarn overs, the body has sections of eyelets made by yarn overs and the edging is a simple picot cast off. It is an easy lace design. The finished size is 118cm by 75cm (47” by 30”) blocked rigorously. It requires just one skein of the yarn, but be aware that you must work to tension as there was very little yarn left over.
