The brim is ribbed (K1,P1) and can be made longer in Version 2 for a double thick folded brim which will be snuggly warm. The pattern is very stretchy. It will fit most heads between 16-22 inches for the smaller size and 22-25 inches for the m\/l. The main difference between the Adult S and M\/L is the depth of the hat and the cast on for the brim. The sizing is achieved by moving up a needle size and for the M\/L size I used a 5.5mm\/US9 circular needle for the main part of the hat.
