Product Description
This shawl is named after the island furthest out in the Gothenburg archipelago. The island is famous for both having a lighthouse and for the singer songwriter Evert Taube grew up there. The stripes on the shawl reminds me of waves coming into shore and the photos were taken at – you guessed it! – Vinga island!
Vinga has a shallow crescent shape, the pattern is both charted and written. The shawl is suitable for a first lace project. All you need to know it knit, purl, yarn over, k2tog and ssk.
