Velma the Witch

SKILLS REQUIRED

Crocheting in spiral, magic ring, chain, slip stitch, single crochet stitches, changing colors and increasing.

MATERIALS

• I used worsted weight 100% acrylic yarn (Loops & Threads – Impeccable with colors: Amethyst (purple), Aran (beige), True Grey, Pale Grey, Chocolate Brown, Soft Taupe and Black.)

• 3.50 mm crochet hook (US size E/4) or according to the yarn

• Polyester fiberfill for stuffing

• Two 9 mm safety eyes or buttons, beads, felt etc.

• Yarn needle, scissors, stitch marker

• Cardboard (I used cereals’ cardboard)

• Glue stick and hot glue or fabric glue

• Pink blush for the cheeks (optional)

FINAL SIZE

Velma is about 11,5 cm (4,5”) high, with worsted weight 100% acrylic yarn and a 3.50 mm crochet hook (US size E/4).
