Product Description
This machine washable blankie is ideal for a beginning knitter or someone who loves some garter stitch! Just the right size for a stroller or a car seat, this is knit in strips and joined by whip stitching so that as the child ages, the blanket can be reduced in size. A toddler or preschooler can carry around part of this while the other section is in the wash!
Note: This can be worked with a fingering weight yarn that is doubled or a single strand of a DK weight yarn. In any case, use a machine washable yarn to protect the sanity of the baby’s mom!
Color A: 910 yd. (832m) fingering (worked double)
Color B: 612 yd. (566m) fingering (worked double) or Color A: 455 yd. (416m)light worsted weight OR DK
Color B: 306 yd. (283m)light worsted weight OR DK
Colors C and D: part of 1 skein each yarn, smooth enough for sewing the knitted strips.
