Product Description
The Upside Down is a chunky cable hat worked from the bottom up in circular needles with a super-bulky yarn. The texture is achieved with an easy but different cable pattern: knit and purl stitches.
Size: Adult; one size fits most. Shown in a 22”/56 cm head circumference Length from brim to top about 10”/25 cm
Yarn: 100 g of a super-bulky yarn Schachenmayr Nomotta Silenzio (suggested) 2 skeins x 50 g / 132 yards You can also use a bulky yarn if you obtain gauge with it
Needles: US 10 (6 mm) and US 10,5 (6,5 mm) 16” (40) or 24” (60) circular needles and US 10,5 (6,5 mm) dpn needles (dpn are optional for the crown)
Other notions: Stitch marker, cable needle, tapestry needle
Faux fur pompom is optional.
Gauge: 18 stitches x 22 rounds: 4”/10 cm in cable pattern with larger needles
