The Townhouse is a knitted cowl pattern inspired by the distinctive architecture of Dutch townhouses, particularly the narrow, tall buildings found throughout The Netherlands. The design draws aesthetic inspiration from traditional step gables—a popular architectural style featuring a series of stepped formations on each side that rise to meet in the center, often topped with white sandstone blocks. This cowl translates that architectural character into a wearable accessory through strategic colorwork and stitch placement.
