It uses a modified version of the same lace and bobbles pattern. The hat is knit in the round from the bottom up. I used a tubular 2 x 2 rib cast on, but you can use your preferred method. One skein of yarn will give you enough to complete the largest size and still have enough left over to make a pom pom, if desired. I used Jilly and Kiddles Ideal DK in colorway “Meet Me On the Hill”. Together is what I really wish we could be right now.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe hat is designed to have a bout 2”\/5 cm of negative ease, so choose that gets you closest. The crown depth is about 8”\/20 cm for the beanie version.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI made my pom pom out of the yarn I used to make the hat, but a store bought pom pom would be really cute, too.
