Description: A festive children’s jumper featuring three cheerful Christmas penguins around the neckline. Knitted in double knitting (DK) wool, the design includes neat ribbing at the neckline, cuffs and hem for a comfortable, stretchy fit. The front, back and sleeves are worked separately from the bottom up and sewn together, with stitches picked up to complete the neckline. A chart is included for the motif.
Sizes: 3–4, 4–5, 6–7, 8–9 years.
Skill Level: Intermediate – chart reading required.
Yarn: Double knitting wool (USA Light Worsted / AUS 8‑ply). Sample uses Stylecraft Special DK: Empire 1829, Lipstick 1246, White 1001, Orange 1256, Black 1002.
Needles: 3.25 mm and 4.0 mm straight needles (USA 3 and 6).
Other Materials: Stitch holders; small crochet hook for pompoms (optional).
