Third Eye Table Mat

A third eye table mat with starburst-style eyelashes, perfect for laying out your tarot cards or teacups for a reading, or use as a quirky place mat for dinner or for placing jewellery on your dressing table.

Using Bobbiny 1.5mm macrame cord and a 6.5mm hook makes an eye about 55cm wide and 40cm tall (22 x 16 inches). To make a bigger or smaller eye, use thicker or thinner cord and hook.

This pattern contains a colour crochet chart, written instructions using both American and British crochet terms and photo tutorials on the magic loop and changing colour.

You will need:

Bobbiny 1.5mm macrame cord: 1 skein each of Black, Natural and an iris colour (I used Eucalyptus).

6.5mm crochet hook.

Tapestry needle.

Foam blocking mat and pins are useful but not essential.
