There's waist shaping and a slightly shorter length to mimic the classic jacket.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe body of the jacket is worked in classic Lopi, but at a tighter gauge than usual. This creates a better jacket fabric: denser and more windproof, and with substance and weight to hold its shape. I’ve used a softer yarn for deep hem, collar and zipper facings, to add some extra warmth and comfort: not everyone likes Lopi next to their skin.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ePattern suitable for knitters with garment experience.
