The Singsong is a cheerful pullover sweater designed for babies, toddlers, and young children. This knitted garment is available in eight sizes ranging from 3 months through 8–9 years, making it a versatile pattern for growing children. The pullover features a distinctive tunic-inspired silhouette created by slits in the bottom ribbing, adding both visual interest and practical design to the finished piece.

Construction Method and Techniques

The Singsong is constructed using a top-down raglan construction method, a popular approach in modern knitwear design that allows for easy fitting adjustments and minimal seaming. The sweater begins at the neckline and works downward in a seamless fashion.

The yoke section features a moss stitch design on both the front and back panels, creating a simple yet visually effective textured pattern that adds depth and interest to the upper body. The back neck incorporates short rows to create a raised back neckline, which improves fit and comfort—though this technique is optional and can be omitted if preferred.
