Product Description
The Marshal's hood is one of the patterns from Story Maker: an illustrated book of knitting, fibre & fable, a short illustrated novel with 12 original knitting patterns inspired by the story. The print version is available from Story Made Yarns.
The Marshal’s Hood is a deep cozy hood with a doubled brim and attached dickie.
Construction: The front of the hood, framing the face, is worked in the round and folded double for a finished edge. After this point the hood is worked flat to the back of the head and closed with a three-needle bind-off. Stitches are then picked up around the neck opening of the hood to form the shoulders. These stitches are then divided and worked flat for both the front and back of the dickie.
