The Doctor's Wife

The Doctor’s Wife is a bottom-up pullover, knit in the round, featuring a colorwork motif of the T.A.R.D.I.S. The only finishing is underarm grafts and weaving in ends. It has a feminine silhouette due to optional waist shaping and a slightly wider neckline.

Finished Size: Chest: 36(40, 44, 48, 52) inches, Sleeve circumference 13(14, 15.5, 16.5, 17) inches Length: 14.5(15, 15.5, 16, 16.5) inches from cast on edge to underarm

Yarn: Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Worsted (100% Superwash merino wool, 225 yards/4 ounces) 5(5, 5, 6, 7) skeins or approximately 1000(1100, 1200, 1300, 1400) yards Main Color (sample in Bigger On The Inside) and 1(1, 1, 1, 1) skein or 60-100 yards Contrast Color (sample in Natural).

Needles: US #6/4.5mm circular needle, 32 inches or longer (larger sizes may prefer a longer needle). Set of US #6/4.5mm and #4/3,75mm double pointed needles or preferred method for small circumference knitting in the round.

Gauge: 20 stitches/24 rows per 4” in blocked stockinette stitch.
