Texari

Texari – is a triangular shawl with longer wings and, consequently, a shorter centre section. It is knitted using various slip-stitch and textured patterns.

You will receive written instructions without any knitting charts. The individual patterns are described row by row.

You will only ever be knitting with one colour, so even experienced beginners can follow along and knit this shawl.

The stitches used are knit stitches, purl stitches, yarn overs, crossed stitches and slip stitches.

The size of the shawl depends on the yarn used and the total length of yarn knitted.

My shawls measure approx. 215 x 155 x 155 cm when knitted with 4-ply twisted yarn over a total length of 1000 m, and 165 x 130 x 130 cm when knitted with 800 m of sock-weight yarn.

You will need two different colours of yarn.
