Teasel Sock

The beautiful, ethereal but prickly teasel bloom is the inspiration for these highly textured short summer socks with princess soles  The sock begins with a textured broken rib section worked inside out, the work is then turned the correct way round for the bloom stitch section after which it is then turned inside out and the rest of the sock worked until the star toe begins giving a wonderfully comfortable sole, fit for a princess without the usual tedious purling involved
