Textured Felt Shoulder Bag

This modern shoulder bag pairs the strength of felt with the beauty of richly textured knitting. The body is knit and then felted in a washing machine for a sturdy, durable finish. After felting, stitches are picked up to knit the flap directly onto the bag. Two handy side pockets—perfect for a phone or glasses—are knit separately and sewn on. (That’s the only sewing required—no seaming involved!)

What You’ll Need:

1. Yarn: 2 skeins Cascade Eco+ (approx. 600 yards) – shown in Straw
2. Needles: US 10 (6mm) circular needles, at least 24" long; US 10 (6mm) lace needles
3. Notions: Fiberfill, scissors, stitch markers, tapestry and darning needles, tape measure, and a 2–2.5" toggle or button
