Striped Baby Beanie

This is a top down hat in a stripe pattern.

**Skill level**—Beginner

**Materials Used** DK weight yarn - I used Stylecraft special DK. 4mm hook or hook size needed to meet the gauge

**Gauge** Using a 4mm hook, 12 rows 17 stitches in HDC 4 inch square. Adjust your hook size if you don't meet this gauge.

**Pattern notes** Written un US terms. Meet the gauge other wise the finished item my not fit. Chain 3 can be used instead of a magic circle, join with a slip stitch into the first chain. Any chain 1 at the start of the rounds do NOT count as a stitch. Any chain 2 at the start of the rounds DO count as a stitch. Increase means 2 stitches into the same stitch. Anything between * will be repeated. Any DK weight yarn will work as long as the gauge is met.
