I used one skein of Malabrigo Arroyo (335 yards/100 grams) in the color Sand Bank, which is a heavy sport weight yarn, and close to a DK weight. I recommend using one skein of Malabrigo Arroyo, or you can use one skein of heavy sport or DK weight yarn that is at least 100 grams and 335 yards.
