Starf

Starf is a scarf, or, maybe, a wrap.

The star at one end is about 60cm in diameter; the main body is 25cm wide.

Techniques used: short rows, provisional cast-on, garter stitch, decreases and increases. You need to be familiar with all above to successfully knit this scarf.You will need:

fingering-weight yarn, approximately 120g /500 meters total. You can also use sport-weight; in that case you will use more yarn

circular needles US size 6. DPNs are OK, but circulars are more convenient.

scrap yarn for provisional cast-on. Yarn must be smooth (cotton, silk, synthetics).

additional double-pointed or circular needle (optional)
