Springtime Cell Phone/Eyeglass Cover

About The Design: Whether you call it an iCozy, iSleeve, iSock, or iCover, this pattern is the 5th in a series of knit covers for your cell phone or eyeglasses. The covers only weigh about an ounce, so they make good use of all those tiny balls of stash yarns we can’t bear to get rid of. This motif was inspired by a lace pattern, called ‘Springtime’, in Marianne Kinzel’s “First Book of Modern Lace Knitting”.

Sample 1: Lamb's Pride Worsted in M10 Creme, Blooming Fuchsia, and M191Kiwi.

Sample 2: M10 Creme, M100 Supreme Purple, and M169 Woodland Green.

Sample 3: M10 Creme, M183 Rosado Rose, and M191 Kiwi.

Sample 4: M10 Creme, M157Orchid Blush, and M169 Woodland Green.

Gauge: 20 sts and 28 rnds = 4” (10 cm) in St st, and 22 and 26 sts = 4” in color patt with size 6 ndls, or size to give gauge. To save time, take time to check gauge.

Substitute Yarn Weight: heavy worsted
