It looked like a chilly morning in autumn, so my first thought was, “This woman needs a hat!” In my mind, the hat needed to be a simple, no-nonsense beret that would look cute on a person at any age. I wanted it to be warm and dense to keep out the cold wind, so I chose Puffin yarn knit at a tighter gauge.
