South Philly Skulls Beanie

This hat is the companion piece to my South Philly Skulls Cowl, featuring the same small-scale skull motif adapted for a beanie. It's worked in DK-weight yarn using simple stranded colorwork and is approachable for knitters who have done some colorwork before or are ready to try it for the first time. The pattern is designed for Kelbourne Woolens Scout although any DK yarn will do. You’ll only need one skein of each color to make at least two hats if you reverse the color placement. It’s a fun way to play with color pairing and get more out of your yarn.
