Sophie Slippers Garter

This is an intermediate slipper knitting pattern, sized kids to adult. SUMMARY: The slippers are worked in Garter stitch, with two strands of yarn. These slippers start at the toe. Then the body of the slipper is worked, and then wrap and turns are used to build the heel. Once the heel is finished stitches are picked up to work the cuff.

YARN WEIGHT: Bulky Weight

YARN YARDAGE: 1 100g hank up to size 6 1/2 US women; 2 100 g hanks for larger sizes; Depending on the size should make at least 1 pair of slippers YARN MATERIAL(S): 3 or 4 ply wool based sock yarn, experiment with different materials
