Product Description
About the Design: This tea cozy design uses an adaptation of my Heavenly Snowflake Socks design, from the Winter 2003 Heels and Toes Gazette.Every now and then, I create a motif that I know I’ll want to use again. With the bright pink accent color, these snowflakes will surely brighten any winter’s day!
These 4-cup tea cozies are knit in Naturally Nazareth, a worsted/aran weight wool yarn of reasonable cost. One skein each of the 3 colors will make both tea cozies.
Yarn: Kraemer Yarns Naturally Nazareth, 100% Domestic wool, approx 184 yd/100 gr skein: 1 skein each: #Y1313 Snowman (A), Y1301 Natural (B), and Y1321 Melon (C) (There is enough yarn to make both versions.)
**Gauge: **20 sts and 24 rows = 4″ (10 cm) over stranded patt with size 8 ndls or size to give gauge.
Substitute Yarn Weight: worsted/aran. (I have suggested Plymouth Yarns Homestead. Cascade Yarns Eco and Eco+ should also work. The Naturally Nazareth is a rounded 4-ply yarn. These subs are 2-ply yarns.)
