Product Description
The Snow Flowers hat is a riff on my fun-to-work Seashell Tide hat, but with lots of upgrades! Snow Flowers uses an accent color to made the stitch pattern really pop, and has options for both beanie and slouchy versions, each with sizing from child through adult large, so you can knit this hat for the whole family.
Sizes: Child (adult S, M, L) with finished circumference of 17.5 (18.5, 20, 21.5)”/43 (46, 50, 53) cm, intended to be worn with approximately 2”/5 cm negative ease (hat circumference smaller than head circumference).
Yarn selection: Sport-weight yarn. The pattern will look best with a strong contrast between the hat’s background color and the accent color.
Main color: approximately 40 (50, 55, 60) grams/110 (135, 150, 165) yards/100 (125, 140, 150) meters
Contrast color: approximately 7 (9, 10, 11) grams/20 (25, 30, 35) yards/18 (23, 25, 28) meters
Gauge: 24 sts and 32 rows to 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch, unblocked.
