Product Description
Snakes and Ladders is a moebius cowl that features ribbed sections, alternating with rope cables that run across the width of the cowl, and an I-Cord bind off at the edges (or, “edge”, as of course, a moebius cowl has only ONE edge!), giving it a firm structure, and a tidy finish.
This cowl is called Snakes and Ladders because of the way the ribs and the cabled bars work horizontally across the cowl, coupled with the I-Cord edging working vertically, like a ladder, and the twisting cables are reminiscent of twining snakes. Well, they are in my head, anyway!
Worked in chunky/bulky yarn, on 8mm needles, this is a super quick knit, and should easily wrap around your neck twice, giving an incredibly warm and cosy garment. The cowl stands quite well on its own: the cables and ribs, along with the edging, give it an almost architectural strength – perfect for burying your face in, against the cold weather.
The truly dazzling aspect of this cowl, though, is that being moebius
