Sirdar snowflake yarn.
I have to say this is the worst yarn I've ever used. It's like knitting with cotton wool. I will never buy this wool again.

I've used this yarn only for a Patch Puppy knitted toy. I found it a bit tricky to use because of its pile … so let me clarify that comment. I found the only way to keep track of rows was to manually count them on paper which was a bit of a pain. That said the end result was amazing … so much so I went and made another using the same yarn and pattern. So patience is the key to this yarn but the end result is worth it.
I use this to make teddies. The finished product doesn’t look ‘knitted’ as it is almost fluffy, and feels really soft. The teddy can be held-in-the-hand by young and old( even 90 year old) alike. The pattern is in a Sirdar book. Must have made well over a 100 of these, some to give as my presents but most to sell for various charities eg scope, guide dogs, therapy dogs, helping hands dogs, local animal sanctuaries etc
The yarn knits well and is lovely for young children’s clothing or toys
Not too hard to knit with and made a lovely little sheep on a baby cardigan.
Quite tricky to knit with but so fabulous for toys
Snowflake is lovely to knit with. Yes the pattern was easy to read and accurate.
This knits up beautifully although stitches are hard to see
Just the right yarn for knitting 'snow' themed Christmas items, but not the easiest to knit with.
A little tricky to knit with (especially when increasing stitches) but the finished product is worth it!
