Simplicity Sweater

The ‘Simplicity’ sweater is an easy knit with very little shaping. It uses basic knit and purl stitches to create textured side seams and added interest around the neckline. It’s worked from the bottom up and the neck is worked as part of the front and back panels (no need to fiddle about picking up stitches!). This makes it a great project for a confident beginner/improver or those who have never made a garment before. The nipped in waist and boat neck make for a flattering shape and the longer length means it’s ideal with leggings or skinny jeans.
