Simon and Simona (NB-2y)

Simon and Simona sweater is a part of the “In the Nursery” ebook. This sweater is designed to be unisex, and thus makes a perfect gift to knit for a baby. The sweater is worked from the top down and is completely seamless. A touch of texture makes it a very interesting and engaging knit. This design is suitable for all levels of knitter.

Yarn & Gauge:

• 22 stitches and 28 rows = 10 cm in stockinette stitch using 4mm/US#6 needles.
• DK weight yarn

NOTIONS:

• US # 6/4.0 mm circular needles (12”/30 cm or 16”/40 cm or dpns; 24”/60 cm) or size needed to obtain gauge;
• US #3/3.25 mm circular needles (12”/30 cm or 16”/40 cm or dpns, 24”/60 cm);
• 1 stitch marker in color A, 3 in color B, and 6 in color C;
• 2 buttons (0.5”/15 mm wide);
• Sewing thread;
• Sewing needle;
• Waste yarn/stitch holders;
• Darning needle or crochet hook for weaving in ends.
