Product Description
The Sidmouth Scarf was inspired by a gloriously sunny week in the beautiful Devon town of Sidmouth. We walked beneath the orange cliffs and climbed Jacob’s Ladder. At the top we discovered a magical clifftop garden.
This super long rectangular scarf is crocheted with 400g of Aran yarn. It doesn’t have a border and all the colour changes are made by the yarn so there are very few ends to weave in. The stitch pattern uses a combination of double and treble stitches to produce a lovely lacy scarf to brighten up your day. You will also be working some of the stitches in the back loop for added texture.
My Sidmouth Scarf was made with Yarnsmiths Pebble Haze Prints Aran, 2x200g cakes in colourway Seaham, using a 5.5mm hook. Length 268cm, width 26cm.
You could also try using an alternative variegated Aran yarn for your own unique version of the Sidmouth Scarf. Berocco Sesame or Sirdar Jewelspun would be good options..
