The stitches are increased in each second row (4 each time: 2 in both sides of center spine stitch and 2 alongside each border), border is classically 3 garter stitches. The biggest part of shawl is stockinette, garter and simple eyelet lace and it ends with beautiful lace butterflies.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eNOTE: the butterflies lace part is done without rest rows, the lace is formed in every row.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe shawl can be made from different yarn (worsted, sock, fingering) though it will affect the final size and yardage.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFinal size of samples: Malabrigo Rios: 80cm (31.5’’) in depth, 160cm (63’’) in span.
