Shani

Originally published in Twist Collective 2011, Shani is a lace and rib sock, knit from the cuff down with a heel flap and gusset construction. Decreases every round and every other round, create interesting lace lines that move at different angles. Shani is very stretchy, but is designed with a snug fit so the lace pattern is open and visible.

Measurements

• Foot circumference: 7˝/18 cm, not stretched

• Leg circumference: 6.75˝/17 cm, not stretched

• Foot length: approximately 9.25˝/23.5 cm Length of sock is adjustable to suit a variety of preferences.

Gauge

30 stitches/44 rows = 4˝/10 cm in Stockinette stitch.
