Sencillo Shawlette

There seems to be some confusion on how many stitches to cast on for this shawl. You will cast on 11 stitches. It does state this at the beginning of the pattern but I thought that I would state it here as well to help ya'll out. Happy knitting!

This shawl is perfect for those who love garter stitch and want something simple but just complex enough to keep you interested.

The contrasting vertical stripes add interest and the simple garter stitch lace border gives it a nice touch of lace without being too fussy.

The shawl can be worked in two shapes: a long slender slightly curved shawlette and a triangular shawl. Directions for both are included. Also the border can be knit as you go or added on later.
