Secret Cross Square

I was looking for a cross pattern that was fairly easy, yet not obvious. Faith is personal for me, so I wanted something to show faith without being fancy. I couldn't find one I liked so I came up with my own. It can be made for a baby blanket, a full bedspread or an afghan. One of my testers added the dc rounds so it could be used as a dishcloth.

You could add a couple rounds of dc to bring it to 12", though I like it better without them so the crosses themselves create another pattern once assembled. The choice is yours obviously.

Stitches used are just sc, dc, puffs and chs.

The pattern is rated beginner. It is easy to memorizes after a couple have been made, so it makes a great carry along project, also.
