I was inspired to design this from a trip to Shetland in the autumn when I bought a selection of the Jamieson's of Shetland yarn during their annual Wool Week.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe sweater is knitted flat with 3mm needles from the bottom up in separate pieces (front, back, and sleeves) and then sewn together. However, the sleeves can easily be knitted entirely in the round, and the body (Front and Back) can be knitted in the round until the armhole decreases begin (starts with a short bind-off).\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe pattern includes instructions for four sizes: X-Small, Small, Medium, and Large. The corresponding blocked bust measurements for these sizes are 37”, 41”, 45”, and 49”.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThere are endless great colour combinations and other types of yarn that would suite this pattern!
