Yes. I bought double knitting Schachenmayr wool to knit socks. The colour sequence was the same in each ball/each sock down to the heal, but then each had a different sequence, so the socks don't match...neve had that before.

I needed some yarn to finish a project, and of course my original set of yarn was no longer in production. Google helped me identify a substitute, and I found it at Love Crafts. It worked just fine, and project is complete!

The pattern I used was for an Aran coat and was an old pattern. I ran out of wool (which I had bought some years ago and stored) and to complete the last sleeve and the bands around the front edge and the neck, I needed extra wool and I was very pleased to be able to purchase the wool in the same shade (natural) which was also 100% wool as the one I was using and needed the same size needles.. It is a lovely soft wool and would be ideal for children's garments as well as adult wear.
