Product Description
This is a pattern for a light weight wrap. It’s heavier than a shawl, but just the ideal for a cool evening, or air conditioning. It is comprised of two stitches, both coming to us from Estonian. The focal stitch is an unusual one that comes to us from Japan. The final size of the shawl is 22 1/2 inches by 72 inches. The focal stitch is both charted and written out line by line. There are also instructions for an optional crocheted edging contained within the pattern, should you want it edged. The lace itself is a true lace.
Skill Level: Intermediate - Intermediate + (assuming a basic knowledge of lace knitting)

The yarn used in the sample is Casbah, by Handmaiden, in colorway, Tourmaline.
Any heavy fingering weight yarn or sport weight yarn giving you a gauge of 5 sts/inch on size U.S. #5/3.75mm in lace stitch will work for this pattern.
