I found it to be the best kind of addictive knitting!\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFor the sweater, I set out to create a simple, loose silhouette, worn open with a bit of detail - the perfect sweater to throw on over anything. I used a little lace and a lot of stockinette, so it’s an easily modified shape and a quick, satisfying project. Saddle shoulders lend some nice shaping and stability to the loose silhouette, and the beautiful detail at the collar remains the focus. It turned out exactly as I wanted, and the knitting went so fast, I found I needed a little more – so I cast on for a shawl and then, the mitts and hat.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe sample was made with O-Wool Classic Worsted.
