Røros

Røros are easy top-down worsted weight socks, ideal as a first sock or colourwork project. They feature a simple two-colour motif and a reinforced slip stitch heel. Super cosy and available in 4 adult sizes, these socks are designed to be unisex. The socks knit up very quickly and would be a perfect last minute gift.

Sizes: S (M, L, XL) Circumference: 7”, (8”, 9”, 10”) Sizes are based on the Craft Yarn Council Foot Size Charts and should account for most adult sizes.

Yarn: a total of 210, (260, 310, 370) yds / 193, (239, 284, 339) m worsted weight yarn in 2 colours MC: 185, (230, 270, 320) yds / 170, (211, 247, 293) m CC: 25, (30, 40, 50) yds / 23, (28, 37, 46) m

Needles: 3.75mm / US 5 DPNs or 32” circular needle (or size needed to achieve gauge) Other materials: Stitch marker, yarn needle.

Skills needed: knit, purl, increases and decreases, slipping stitches, stranded colourwork, use of charts, knitting in the round, short rows, kitchener stitch, german twisted cast on.
