Roe deer winter beanie

I love roe deers. And you see many of them here around. And that's why I put them once more on a winter hat pattern.

The beanie has a two color ribbing, followed by a little forest border pattern. Then come the roe deers (mommy and baby), followed by another forest pattern and the falling snow. Above is a lace imitating border pattern, snowfall and a lovely snow star at the top.

It fits about 54 - 56 cm head circumreference. I knitted it with 4-ply Acrylic yarn but you can also use any other 4- to 5-ply yarn (e.g. Merino, sock ...).

For bigger sizes use 5-ply yarn or/and go up one needle size.

As it has not many color changes, it's also suitable for colorknitting beginners.

Ich liebe Rehe. Und bei uns gibt's genügend. Und deshalb hab ich sie wieder auf ein Wintermuster gebannt.

Die Mütze hat einen zweifarbigen Bund, eine kleine Waldbordüre, gefolgt von Mama Reh und Rehkitz. Darüber wieder Wald mit Schneefall und einer
