This is a soft and airy ribbed knit sweater designed by Katrine H, crafted from a luxurious blend of alpaca and silk yarns. Techniques Used

The sweater is constructed using a specialized ribbed knitting technique that creates a deeper, more textured rib structure than standard knitting. The key technique involves patent stitch ribbing (also called brioche stitch), which is worked as 1 knit, 1 purl, with the distinctive feature of knitting under every other stitch rather than working into the stitch itself. Materials

Alternative yarn combinations with matching gauge may be substituted. Needles required include 6mm and 5mm circular needles measuring 100cm (or double-pointed needles for sleeve construction). The gauge is 9 stitches over 10 centimeters, and knitters are advised to work a gauge swatch before beginning to ensure proper finished measurements.
