Supplies  Double Knit Pullskein or Light Worsted Yarn o Colour 1- Black – 1 ball (100g) o Colour 2 – White – 1 ball (100g)  5mm (H) Hook  Darning Needle  Pair of Scissors  Stitch markers (Optional)

Stitches  dc herringbone Stitch : (Yarn over, insert hook into stitch, pull through two loops, yarn over pull through one loop, yarn over pull through two loops)  Reverse single crochet: You will work the stitch in the opposite direction than one you would normally work (insert hook into stitch, yarn over pull through, yarn over pull through two loops)
