Renaissance Hat

This hat has a spring Renaissance Fair look. Two styles....the simpler one uses Noros self striping yarn for a more colorful look.

Yarn: Worsted Wt. Samples use: Hat #1; Shibu by Ella Rae, 90% silk,10% viscose, 50 gr/105 yds.1 ball for each color (3 colors) Hat #2; color A; Cashsland by NORO, wool/cashmere, 40 gr, 1 skein. color B; Silk Garden by NORO, silk/mohair, 50 gr, 1skein.

Gauge: 5 sts and 6 rows per inch.

Notes: M1A, M1B; (make one) with right needle, pick up strand between needle points and place on left needle. Always pick up color being used. Knit into back of strand to create a new stitch.

mb-C; (make bobble), knit, purl, knit, all into next stitch. Turn, knit all 3 stitches. Turn. Purl all sts. Slip 1st & 2nd sts over 3rd.
