Product Description
This cable hat pattern is a little different from the usual ones. The cables are relaxed, making the hat a little lighter and airier, while still being warm, soft and squishy. The cables are also a little easier to work, as they are relaxed. No purl stitches are used.
The pattern comes in 11 sizes to fit all heads from newborn to large adult. The hat features a tubular cast on, which gives a beautiful rounded edge. A standard cast on can be used, if desired. Worked in the round, on 4 mm US 6 needles and using DK( Light Worsted or 8 ply) yarn. You will need between 50 - 100 g of yarn, depending on the size and yarn used. Yarn Suggestions: For the adult hat: Fyberspates Vivacious DK or: The Yarn Collective Bloomsbury DK For the baby hat: Rico Essentials Merino DK or Sublime Extra Fine Merino DK
