Needle US size 1 2.25 mm needles 16” 40 mm circular needles or size to obtain correct gauge. (For ribbing) US size 2 2.75 mm needles 24” 60 mm circular needles or size to obtain correct gauge. (For hat body knitting) US size 2 2.75 mm needles 32” 80 mm circular needles / a set of DPNs, or size to obtain correct gauge. (For CO and increase section)
